- To start a business you must buy a
$50.00 occupational license.
- Each year you will receive a renewal notice with your fee amount on
it. After the first year, the license fee is based on your sales tax.
- All electrician and plumbers must have a state license to purchase a
license in Bernice.
- All electrician and plumbers must have a Bernice license to do
business in the city limits of Bernice.
- All new businesses must submit a report to the Fire Marshall's office,
and be approved before an occupational license will be sold.
- All peddlers must buy a peddlers license for the year to sale in
Bernice (farmers selling their produce are exempt from this license.)
